Cyber Monday Online Deals are setting a new record! Retailers are singing a happy tune this holiday as rivals Amazon.com and Walmart.com hit new sales records, according to industry experts.

Amazon reported a record number of November sales for its Kindle electronic book reader and Amazon still has awesome deals on Netbooks! The Toshiba Mini NB205-N325PK 10.1-Inch Posh Pink Netbook has 9 Hours of Battery Life and comes with Windows 7 Starter installed for $370.00! And it’s PINK! What more could a girl ask for?

Reuters reports that Jefferies analyst Youssef Squali estimates that Amazon will report about 30 percent sales growth in its holiday fourth quarter. Recession? What recession?

Retail giant Wal-Mart has offered the lowest prices on books, toys for shoppers on Cyber Monday-–and there are plenty of deals at Walmart.com. Here are a few of the deals still left for Cyber Monday!

Tiger Woods—who takes home $100 million a year—can afford the services of a media crisis team to advise him. I can’t imagine any PR guru would be advising him to do what he’s been doing—it’s just making the crisis bigger!

The guy has put himself out there for kids as a role model and a good guy. Lots of products have been purchased by kids and families because of Tiger Woods—does he owe his fans an explanation? If you don’t think he owes anything to the fans, what about the fact that bad PR is very bad for sponsors?

The game of golf is a little more conservative than other major sports and with so much sponsorship money on the line riding on his squeaky clean image, I would think Woods would have the business savvy to realize he is damaging his career with his behavior.

If Tiger Woods didn’t have a fling with Rachel Uchitel, he is sure acting like a guy who has something to hide.

Tiger should have started talking to the press last week, when the tabloid story of an affair with party hostess Rachel Uchitel started the media frenzy.

On the Devil Ball Golf blog, Kevin Sullivan, the founder of Kevin Sullivan Communications, writes that the Woods team let the public relations crisis get out of hand in the early, crucial hours. “Tell it first, tell it yourself and tell it all,” Sullivan begins in describing how Woods should have handled things before all the clubs were out of the bag.

Fox has an excellent overview of the situation, columnist Mark Kriegel says it’s not a privacy issue but a Tiger Woods issue that has caused this PR nightmare.

The Twilight Saga: New Moon led the U.S. box office over the weekend, racking up a record $190 million according to studio estimates and reports from USA Today:

New Moon remained on top for the second consecutive weekend despite a 70% drop from its opening weekend. It took in an additional $42.5 million this weekend and crossed the $200 million mark on Friday, exceeding the total gross of 2008′s Twilight ($192.8 million).

Susan Boyle created history yesterday when her album became the fastest selling debut by a woman. The star of Britain’s Got Talent had her dreams come true when her debut album, I Dreamed A Dream entered the charts at No. 1 after selling more than 400,000 copies in the UK alone.

Simon Cowell praised Boyle and said he was” incredibly proud of Susan” and delighted for her.

Tiger Woods: Wife “Went Ghetto” on Him? Tiger and Elin Put Off Police for Third Time!

TMZ.com reports that Tiger Woods told a friend that his wife Elin “went ghetto” on him, referring to the allegation that she hit Woods with a golf club during an argument over Rachel Uchitel.

Tiger and his wife Elin Nordegren cancelled a scheduled 3:30 PM EST interview with the Florida Highway Patrol for the third time in two days! Seriously, what is Tiger thinking?

Is Jon Gosselin’s PR team advising Tiger Woods? It sure seems like it.

Do you hear that sound? It’s the sound of giant corporate sponsors slowly creeping away from Tiger Woods as he makes a mess of his professional reputation.

As the media monster story grows bigger, Tiger put up a statement on his website:

As you all know, I had a single-car accident earlier this week, and sustained some injuries. I have some cuts, bruising and right now I’m pretty sore.

This situation is my fault, and it’s obviously embarrassing to my family and me. I’m human and I’m not perfect. I will certainly make sure this doesn’t happen again.

This is a private matter and I want to keep it that way. Although I understand there is curiosity, the many false, unfounded and malicious rumors that are currently circulating about my family and me are irresponsible.

The only person responsible for the accident is me. My wife, Elin, acted courageously when she saw I was hurt and in trouble. She was the first person to help me. Any other assertion is absolutely false.

This incident has been stressful and very difficult for Elin, our family and me. I appreciate all the concern and well wishes that we have received. But, I would also ask for some understanding that my family and I deserve some privacy no matter how intrusive some people can be.
