Several of TLC’s long-time advertisers complained to the network about Jon Gosselin’s “erratic, widely publicized behavior,” which led the network to change Gosselin’s role in the Jon & Kate Plus 8 TV series.
According to court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, advertiser complaints and Jon’s continuing breach of his contract caused the network to decide to change the show to Kate Plus 8.
The affidavit of Edward Sabin, executive vice president and chief operating officer of TLC, which contains new and damaging charges against Jon Gosselin and his representatives.
The court file also reveals that CBS has admitted that Jon Gosselin was paid to appear recently on two of their programs – also a violation of his contract.
RadarOnline.com reports that Jon will be questioned under oath when TLC’s motion for a preliminary injunction against Jon is heard on December 14. The celebrity website also reveals:
The affidavit reveals many of the terms of the Gosselins’ contract with the network and details numerous breaches by Jon. And despite Jon’s claims that he didn’t have adequate representation, it states the contract was signed in June, 2008 after extensive negotiations, during which the Gosselins were represented both by an attorney and their manager.
This new information proves—once again—that Jon Gosselin has no one to blame but himself for his current situation.

Welcome to REAL life responsibility. Finally, maybe someone will teach him to honor his word (especially signed word), what it means to have integrity, accountability and responsibility for your actions. Or, maybe not and he will be the “victim” like he has shown through out the years. You know, it is always someone else’s fault. What has his parents taught him? Is that what he will teach his 8 kids. I know for one, that if I would do all the things Jon has done, my company would throw my azz in jail. He is getting off easy.
Jon has always been lacking in responsibility. He admits to having little ambition & left that to Kate. I doubt Jon will learn anything from this other than he is once again getting to play the role of victim. Jon’s best talent is whining but the last time I checked there wasn’t a demand for that on TV. Hope he remembers his computer training because that’s the only way he will be able to work when TLC is finished with him.
