After a huge opening week at the box office, the stars of  New Moon were feeling thankful this week! Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner took to Twitter to shout out thanks to all their fans.

Tweeting from the official Twilight Twitter page, Rob, Kristen and Taylor took turns giving thanks to fans in 140 character chunks.

Robert Pattinson went first, tweeting:

Thank you for making NEW MOON #1. It’s very exciting to be a part of something embraced by so many people.

He continued to say:

I hope you are looking forward to ECLIPSE as much as I am.

Kristen Stewart was up next, tweeting just a couple of hours later:

You all have proven you’re the most amazing fans in the world once again.

and:

I feel so lucky to be a part of The Twilight Saga and thank you for making us #1!

Taylor Lautner was up the next day and said:

Thanks for your incredible support of New Moon. Your passion for The Twilight Saga is the sole reason we’re #1 across the world!
