Harry Potter fans rejoice! The DVD of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (PG, $28.98) is out today!  This movie is darker than previous Harry Potter flicks but older kids will love the romance twists and more complex plot.

Alexa Ray Joel called 911 herself on Saturday after taking some homeopathic anti-inflammatory pills.   Joel took Traumeel on Saturday, then freaked out and called 911 on her own, according to the LA Times.

The 911 dispatcher message about Joel’s 911 call was detailed in the LA Times:

‘Female caller. Took eight pills. Wants to die. Now feels funny. Wants to live,’ sources said.” One source categorized the episode as “a cry for help.”

Survivors remembered the 68th anniversary of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. Many veterans who lived through the attack on Dec. 7, 1941 have died, but those who are still alive took time to remember yesterday.
