The Associated Press has named Tiger Woods the AP Athlete of the Decade.
Woods received 56 votes! Most of the ballots were returned before Woods’ car accident on Nov. 27 and the ensuing sex scandal.
Lance Armstrong finished in second place with 33 votes, Roger Federer third with 25 and Michael Phelps fourth with 15.
Is the timing on this honor ironic or is it just me?
