Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston announced their engagement this week.

But the buzz is that the couple is trying to get a reality TV gig.   According to PEOPLE, the pair are “shopping a reality show about their forthcoming marriage.”

If you think a Bristol-Levi reality wedding show is tacky, you’ll love this next bit of news.  Aaron Sorkin is developing a movie based on the sordid John Edwards affair.

Sorkin has optioned Andrew Young’s book, The Politician.

The book spins the story of the sleazy Senator and his wife, Elizabeth, and his mistress, Rielle Hunter, from Andrew Young’s point-of-view.  Young was a political aide who was caught in the middle of John Edwards scandal of sex, lies and politics.

Aaron Sorkin is known for his popular series The West Wing and he penned the script for the upcoming movie The Social Network.
