Sandra Bullock 197x300 Sandra Bullock and Jeff Bridges Win Top Acting Nods At Academy AwardsAfter taking home two Razzies last night for her not-so-stellar roles, Sandra Bullock won the Best Actress Oscar for her role in “The Blind Side.” Accepting her stature to a standing ovation, she thanked her fellow nominees Meryl Streep, Gabourey Sidibe, Carey Mulligan and Helen Mirren before tearing up while thanking her mother for supporting her dream.

Jeff Bridges won the 2010 Best Actor Oscar at tonight’s Academy Awards for his role as Bad Blake in “Crazy Heart.” After five nominations, the gracious Bridges thanked his parents for introducing him to his craft.

Bridges’ fellow nominees included George Clooney, Up in the Air; Colin Firth, A Single Man; Morgan Freeman, Invictus; Jeremy Renner, The Hurt Locker.
