Miley Cyrus on ‘American Idol’ Tonight, ‘The Blind Side’ DVD Release Today

Miley Cyrus comes to American Idol tonight! Miley Cyrus is going to mentor the 11 remaining Idol contestants on American Idol as she begins to promote her new film.

Miley is starting the promotional rounds for her new movie, The Last Song, which opens March 31. The film is based on the Nicholas Sparks novel and Miley plays a rebellious teen who spends the summer with her estranged father in a small town.

In the midst of personal drama for it’s star Sandra Bullock, The Blind Side DVD hits stores today. I love this movie and if you haven’t seen it, go and get the DVD! Sandra Bullock is amazing.

Taylor Lautner on Regis and Kelly to Promote ‘New Moon’, ‘Alice in Wonderland’ Rules Again!

Alice in Wonderland held it’s number one spot at the box office for yet another weekend! According to the LA Times, Alice in Wonderland was the weekend winner, bringing the film’s worldwide ticket sales total to a whopping $565.8 million.

Sandra Bullock: Jesse James Affair Rumor, Bails on UK ‘The Blind Side’ Premiere

Sandra Bullock pulled out of The Blind Side’s London premiere amid reports that she is having marital troubles with husband Jesse James.

Less than two weeks after taking home an Oscar for her role in The Blind Side, In Touch magazine reported that a model who had hoped to work for James’ company, West Coast Choppers, alleges that she had an affair with Bullock’s husband Jesse James. According to the model/actress, the affair occurred while Bullock was filming The Blind Side.

PEOPLE magazine released a statement from Bullock:

Due to unforeseen personal reasons a trip abroad to support The Blind Side has been deemed impossible at this time. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and thank you for your continued support of the film.

These rumors of infidelity come just a few months after James won his custody battle with his porn star ex-wife, Janine Lindemulder, while Sandra Bullock stood by his side.

‘Breaking Dawn’ Could Be Directed by Gus Van Sant or Sofia Coppola?

Entertainment Weekly confirmed today that Gus Van Sant the award-winning director of Drugstore Cowboy and Milk has been approached to direct Breaking Dawn the final movie Twilight Saga series.

Entertainment Weekly also reports that Summit Entertainment has reached out to Sofia Coppola who directed the award winning movie Lost in Translation. Director Bill Condon of Dreamgirls was also approached, according to EW.

Robert Pattinson and Peter Facinelli told MTV News that their ideal director for Breaking Dawn would be the two-time Oscar-nominated director Gus Van Sant, so who knows?

For anyone who hasn’t heard, Twilight Saga: New Moon comes out on DVD this weekend.

Kristen Stewart: Dakota Fanning ‘Straight Up Scary’ as Jane in ‘New Moon’

The Twilight Saga: New Moon marks the first appearance of the Volturi, the closest the vampire world has to royalty and a major force in the future of the saga. Centuries old and unimaginably powerful, they serve as lawmakers and enforcers for the community.

Dakota Fanning plays Jane, a very scary member of the Volturi, in New Moon. Kristen Stewart, who had met Fanning before her involvement with the film said:

Dakota is straight-up scary and mean as Jane. She’s one of the most impressive people and actors I’ve ever met. She’s really got a presence that you just don’t mess with. And you wouldn’t expect that, because she’s a little girl. She’s one of the best young actresses around, and I’m excited that I got to work with her.

The leader of the Volturi is Aro, played by Michael Sheen. Sheen is no stranger to this world, having played a werewolf enslaved by the vampires in the Underworld series.

Sheen developed a distinct vocalization for Aro, higher pitched and more precise than his normal speaking voice. In fact, Sheen says, he unconsciously channeled the scary, psychedelic, music-hating, color-sapping Blue Meanies of Yellow Submarine fame when voicing Aro.

There was a moment where I suddenly thought, ‘Oh, I sound a little bit like the Blue Meanies,’” he says. “I found them really disturbing when I was a kid, so I thought that was a good thing.

While all the Volturi are formidable, perhaps the most fearsome is the character Jane who is played by Dakota Fanning. Jane is a sweet-faced, innocent-looking vampire who can—and does—inflict pain merely by willing it. Fanning said playing Jane was fun:

I’ve never really gotten to play a bad guy before, but in this one, I play a bad girl —or vampire—and it was really fun. Plus, I was a really big fan of the books, I read all four of them in about a week, so it was thrilling to be asked to be a part of the film.

I got to wear red contact lenses, which were cool and changed the whole look of everything, literally. And the white make-up—I thought I was pale before, but now I realize, by comparison to a vampire, I’m actually quite tan.

Kristen Stewart said she is really excited about the upcoming buzz for Eclipse! At The Runaways premiere on Thursday, Stewart told MTV News that she wanted to see more of the Eclipse trailer that was leaked. Kristen told MTV that she saw the Eclipse trailer:

It’s really fast and it’s really quick.

I want to see more!

Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning were on the red carpet on Thursday to show the world their new rock and roll biopic The Runaways and the two stars were answering a lot of Eclipse questions from fans and the press because the new trailer hit the web on Thursday. Kristen and Dakota’s new flick looks AMAZING.

Robert Pattinson’s ‘Remember Me’: Love Story with a Gut Wrenching Twist

RM 011 DF 02507R Robert Pattinsons Remember Me: Love Story with a Gut Wrenching Twist I was blown away by Robert Pattinson’s new movie Remember Me. The film is a romantic drama with gut wrenching twist at the end. Do you remember the twist at the end of The Sixth Sense?

The surprise ending of Remember Me will knock you out of your seat because it will completely change your perception of this movie.

First of all, Remember Me is Robert Pattinson’s breakout role. This film shows that Pattinson is so much more than teen vampire Edward Cullen. Rob plays Tyler, a rebellious young man in New York City who has a strained relationship with his father (Pierce Brosnan) ever since tragedy separated their family. It doesn’t matter if you are a Twilight fan (like me) or you’ve never seen a frame of the Twilight Saga series—if you watch Remember Me, you’ll see the talent of Robert Pattinson. He’ll be around the movie industry for a very long time. The boy has some acting chops, y’all.

The second reason I loved this film is because even though it’s a romantic drama, it’s about FAMILY. The story of Tyler’s family and his girlfriend Ally’s famly is central to the story. Ally is Emilie de Ravin with a sweetness that is sickening but it’s very real. At the end of the day, Remember Me is a story about the healing power of love, the strength of family, and the importance of every single moment you get with those you love. Because it could be gone in an instant.

I loved Remember Me for many reasons that I can’t tell you because it will spoil the movie for you. But please GO AND SEE THIS MOVIE with someone you love. Your spouse. Your brother. Your mother. Do not wait to see this movie. See it now—-and I promise, you won’t be sorry. It’s so much more than a love story between Robert Pattinson and Emilie de Ravin.
