[buzzGLOSS] Dierks Bentley Calls Ft. Hood Hero Kimberly Munley
Posted on November 7, 2009 by Lolita Carrico
Dierks Bentley met Sgt. Kimberly Munley last July at Ft. Hood. Kimberly Munley took a picture with the country star and posted it as her Twitter profile image.
Bentley says he’s proud to be pictured with Munley, who has been hailed as a hero after stopping Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, the alleged the shooter responsible for Thursday’s massacre at Ft. Hood Army base, which killed 13 people.
Dierks Bentley called Kimberly Munley Friday morning, according to PEOPLE:
I said I was honored to have my picture with her and that my band and I were all thinking of her and praying for the folks on the base. She was quiet and she’s just humble person and said she was just doing what she does.
Bentley says Munley was in good spirits despite her injuries. The singer plans to return to Fort Hood to see Munley again. Sweet!
Dierks Bentley is seriously hot for those of you who don’t follow C&W music. Getting a call from Dierks is a great prescription for the Ft. Hood hero!
