eclipse1 Peter Facinelli on Eclipse Scoop, Breaking Dawn Sex ScenesPeter Facinelli spilled some details about Twilight Saga: Eclipse recently.  Facinelli gave Entertainment Tonight the scoop on Dr. Carlisle Cullen in the upcoming Eclipse movie.

We are going to see Dr. Carlisle Cullen in a new light when Eclipse rolls around. You get to see a side of Carlisle you haven’t seen before. There are some great battle sequences.

The fan base has been so phenomenal. When you go to an event, people have flown in from other countries just to take a picture with you. That is a loyal fan base that you can’t even imagine having. I am thankful for all of them. That is why I try to give back in connecting with them on Twitter.

Peter Facinelli dished with Hollywood Life about the sex scenes in Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn and the fine line the producers have to walk to with the story.

I have a 12-year-old daughter [Luca Bella, whose mom is Jennie Garth]. She’s a fan and I’d want her not to feel left out or awkward. Hopefully it’s a PG-13 type of situation. I’m sure the producers and directors know what they want—and especially what they are doing—but I’m sure they don’t want to alienate fans.

Okai well im 13 will b 14 wen breaking dawns released and i want a good sex scene

I really hope they don’t show the sex scenes. Hollywood leaves nothting to the imagination anymore and quite frankly it makes me uncomfortable and I’m 27, married and have a baby on the way. I don’t think they need to show those scenes in detail. Stephenie Meyer didn’t give a play by play so why add that to the film? I wouldn’t want to see young fans miss out on Breaking Dawn because Hollywood feels the need to smut it up. My daughter (still pregnant with her) won’t be seeing Breaking Dawn untill she is 18 if there are sex scenes. We need to keep our daughters pure for as long as we can!!!

yeah im almost 17 and i dont want FULL ON sex scene but something that depicts the emotions in the moment rather than the… sexualness haha. They shouldnt do it just like the book (theyre in the ocean one minute, then waking up in the morning the next)… i agree with brittany though… the parents should know wat to expect out of a vampire love story!

I will be 15 when breaking dawn comes out and my parents want to see it even though they have not read the books. They should not be graphic because it will leave us feeling very awkward and I will be embarressed I suppose cos my rent will be there. Do it like the book!!!

I think they should add a tad bit more than Stephenie originally planned. But I don’t want hardcore sex at all. I just ask that they make it something like they do on the Vampire Diaries, where it’s a little bare back here and there, but that’s all. It has to convey the deep love that Edward and Bella have for one another. I really praise Meyer for postponing the intimacy until after they are married. That is a good message to convey for the young ones, mostly around 12-15 that understand what’s going on. If they show no nudity, then we wouldn’t have to worry about the youngest ones catching on. It’s a win-win that way.
