Hope for Haiti will air next Friday at 8 p.m. EST on ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, CNN, BET, CW, HBO, MTV, VH1, and CMT in the United States, while MTV Networks International, CNN International and National Geographic channels will show it around the world.

The show will be hosted by the actor George Clooney, the Haitian-American musician Wyclef Jean and Anderson Cooper.

Looks like NBC is going to blame everything on Conan O’Brien!  NBC’s Dick Ebersol claims the slip in The Tonight Show ratings is Conan’s fault!  The network exec told The New York Times:

It was chicken-hearted and gutless to blame a guy you couldn’t beat in the ratings. He added that ‘what this is really all about is an astounding failure by Conan.’

Americans will celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. day on Monday. As we celebrate the legacy of the civil-rights leader, thousands of Americans are contributing humanitarian services in Haiti, where millions are in need.
