Irina Shabayeva Wins ‘Project Runway’, Did Judges Seem Bored to You?

Irina Shabeyeva has won Project Runway season 6. The finale finally revealed the winner who has actually been crowned since February this year!

Irina won over Carol Hannah and Althea after her final designs with a “warrior woman” concept impressed the judges—kind of.

Michael Kors said Irina’s was not exactly original but the overall result was good. Heidi Klum added that she would want to own Irina’s collection. Nina Garcia wasn’t happy that Irina’s collection was so black.

This was the first year of Project Runway where the judges didn’t seem that excited about the winner.  Not to take anything away from Irina because she is very talented.  It’s just that the finale didn’t have a WOW to it. The judges seemed bored by the final three designers.  Did you think so or is it just me?

Congrats to Irina Shabayeva! Project Runway Season 6 is over—-next season starts in January in New York!
