[buzzGLOSS] Jon Gosselin Countersues TLC, Network Harmed His Reputation!

Jon Gosselin is countersuing the Jon and Kate Plus 8 cable network TLC. The father of the year is answering the network’s widening breach-of-contract suit against him by claiming TLC not only violated child labor laws while filming his kids but the network made him sign a totally unfair contract!

According to rational people TLC, Jon and Kate Gosselin had their manager and their attorney on hand during the “unfair” contract negotiations that Jon is suing over.

Aside from alleging that the network caused him to lose business opportunities and harmed his reputation, Gosselin claims in his $5 million suit that the network has also failed to make good on financial promises.  Attorney Mark Heller told E! News:

Jon is going to court with a slingshot and is going to aim it at the eye of the monster, TLC.

Is Mark Heller bucking for his own reality series or what?  OMG!  If TLC is a monster, then sign me up.

Radar Online reports that Jon Gosselin made $22,500 per half-hour episode and $45,000 for the hour-long, Very Special Episodes—and says he is still owed $175,000.  Jon’s attorney/future reality TV hopeful Mark Heller gave further details of the lawsuit and “the monster” TLC:

They have put the show on a permanent hiatus…They have eliminated him from the title in any event. Jon and Kate Plus 8 is now Kate Plus 8. They would like to shackle this guy from being in any other television productions, not go forward with the one he is obligated under and it is costing him a lot of opportunities.

Jon is always the victim, isn’t he?  First, it was Kate. Now it’s the big bad TV network that paid him $22K an episode.  I’m sure it’s all the network’s fault!  Jon Gosselin acting like a drunken sailor and dating college girls all summer—while he was still married—had nothing to do with it.

And didn’t Jon Gosselin stop the series from filming?  Seriously, this guy is a piece of work!  Anyone have an opinion on the latest move by Jon?  Does Jon have a reputation that can be harmed?
