[buzzGLOSS] Jon Gosselin Reconciles with Kate’s Brother, Wife? Aunt Jodi and Uncle Kevin on Team Jon?
Posted on October 25, 2009 by Lolita Carrico
Jon Gosselin has reconciled with estranged wife Kate’s estranged brother and sister-in-law, Kevin and Jodi Kreider! According to RadarOnline, Jon met the Krieiders with warm hugs when they arrived at the house. Jon was with the kids at the Gosselin’s home while Kate is out of town.
The Kreiders were in the news earlier this year and blasted Jon and Kate for making the kids do the TV series. Aunt Jodi and Uncle Kevin were telling the world the marriage was in trouble long before the couple split.
If you watched the show, you know that Aunt Jodi was very involved in the first few seasons of the series. Jodi helped Kate a great deal, even keeping the eight Gosselins overnight–in addition to her own four kids!
Aunt Jodi stopped being part of the Jon & Kate Plus 8 series last year. Some people suggest that Kate was bitter because Jodi’s patient mothering skills were making Kate look harsh by comparison. Word is that the producers offered to pay Jodi for appearing on the show (she had been letting the series film her, set up in her home and shoot in her home for free up until then) but Kate got upset about it and this led to a falling out between the two families. I don’t know if this information is true, but it has been reported by several sources.
Jodi’s sister writes a blog called Truth Breeds Hatred. The blog confirms many of the rumors about Jon and Kate. Truth Breeds Hatred paints Kate in a pretty unflattering light, to say the least.
I am happy that the Gosselin children are able to see their Aunt Jodi and Uncle Kevin, since the Kreiders were part of their lives and it’s clear the Kreiders love those kids. Call me cynical but I don’t think Jon was thinking of the kids when he decided to reconcile with Jodi and Kevin.
What do you think of Jon’s new found love for his in-laws? Talk to me and watch this quick clip of Jodi and Kevin Kreider.
