Jon Gosselin says an “epiphany” made him realize TLC has exploited his family!

On Larry King last night, Gosselin said TLC terminated his contract after they learned he wanted to end the program. Gosselin says he wants his kids to stop working on the hit reality series because he doesn’t think it’s healthy for the children:

I really have to be a father here. I can’t be a kid anymore. I have to be a man.

Is Jon on Drugs? Seriously!

Is Jon Gosselin using drugs? Seriously. The reason I am throwing it out there is because his behavior is so erratic, inconsistent. How can a grown man say the things Gosselin is saying over the past few days–after he has behaved like a sleazy frat boy all summer? Let’s examine some of Jon’s statements this week, shall we?

Jon Gosselin made the following confessions to the media this week:

I want the fodder to stop and I want Kate and I to mediate. … I’m here to apologize to Kate.I’m here to apologize to a lot of people. I have made mistakes.I apologize to Hailey.

 I want us to become friends. I want us to figure out our marriage.

Trying to play the victim card, Jon says he last spoke to Kate Gosselin three and a half weeks ago. He said he texts her, but she doesn’t reply.

Doesn’t reply? He’s lucky she doesn’t run him over with her car!

Jon went on national TV and claimed Kate Gosselin abused him? He has said he despises the mother of his children and the real love of his life is 22-year-old Hailey Glassman!

Why would any woman in her right mind believe that this man wants to “be friends”? Jon Gosselin is acting like he is either on drugs OR he’s koo koo for cocoa cocoa puffs! Talk to me, y’all!

Jon needs to stop hanging out with Michael Lohan. Kate will not be winning any Mom of the Year awards from me, but to go on TV and announce to the public (some of whom have kids that go to the same school as your own kids, moron!) and tell them that he despises the mother of his children, makes him the bigger a****** of the two. Now, he’s concerned about their mental health?! He needs to sit down and watch his own interviews and wonder if it just MIGHT be a little too late for that worry. I don’t think Jon’s on drugs, I think he needs to be on drugs to help him decide which person he wants to be for his children.

I have to wonder about Jon’s ability to care for himself, much less his eight children. Or make HUGE life altering decisions that affect the kids “normal” life. I am not the biggest Kate fan but do firmly believe she is handing this insane girlie man AKA Jon who sleeps with anything with a pulse and has NO sense of proper timing, so as to not come off as such a jerk. The show ending ends his lifestyle. While the tabloid storm that has befallen this great show is ALL based on Jon’s actions. As to all that disagree with the show perhaps checking in on a struggling single mother waiting in a welfare line to feed her children, or at least help. I suggest we all get off our soap boxes and put the little green monster to bed. We all made this show popular and maybe we did like them more when they weren’t benefiting so well.

Drugs? No.
But here’s the timeline as I see it.
Acted like an asshole after getting a taste of moderate fame and a little cash.
Was genuinely surprised when public and media called a spade an asshole. (Because he IS an asshole… self-awareness is not a typical asshole trait…)
After whining months about being mistreated, realized nobody perceived him as the poor trod-upon victim he’d made himself in his mind in order to justify his actions.
Got Schmuley and a good publicist.
Both told him he was an asshole.
Said to himself “Shit.”
Commence the mea culpas. (But with a side of “please still boink me er,… I mean… I still love you Hailey!” … ’cause he’s still an asshole. Just an asshole with good represenatation.)
