The Twilight Saga: New Moon smashed the record for a single-day opening at the North American box office, and is on track to score one of the biggest weekend tallies of all time, according to ABC News.
The vampire romance sequel earned $72.7 million across the United States and Canada on Friday, a figure that includes record-breaking midnight sales of $26.3 million.
The Blind Side, starring Sandra Bullock and Tim McGraw is also a hit with viewers and critics! The Blind Side is based on the true story of Michael Oher and Leigh Anne Tuohy.
President Barack Obama’s job approval rating has dropped below 50 percent in a second major poll in an indication he is suffering from the long healthcare debate and weakness in the economy, according to a Gallup Poll released on Friday.
