[buzzGLOSS] Twilight Director Confirms Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart Romance

Catherine Hardwicke confirmed that Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are a couple!  In an interview with Time magazine, the director said:

I think it took a long time for Kristen to realize, O.K., I’ve got to give this a go and really try to be with this person.

The director says her stars were not a couple when the first movie, Twilight, was shooting. Hardwicke said she warned Rob not to date Kristen because she was under 18 at the time.

Robert Pattinson says Twilight is like a “virus” and he finds it strange being a heartthrob, especially when 90 year old women have crushes on him.  Rob is amazed at the response he’s had from fans around the world to the latest installment, New Moon.

We went to Japan earlier on in the year. There wasn’t that much of a reaction – but last week when we went again, it suddenly exploded, the same as in England. I don’t know how, it just explodes so quickly. It takes seven months to take hold – it’s like a virus.
