Motherhood.Thurman [buzzGLOSS] Uma Thurmans Movie Motherhood is Candid, Funny!Uma Thurman’s new movie Motherhood is a candid look at the hardest job in the world and mothers are cheering about this new flick!  In the movie, Thurman’s character Eliza, a part-time blogger and mom of two says:

Nobody talks about this stuff.

Mothers are lining up to see Motherhood, written and directed by Katherine Dieckmann, because it addresses the “stuff” about being a mom that no one talks about!  Actually, mothers are honest with each other about the real job of motherhood but most of the movies and TV shows about moms don’t talk about it.

Real motherhood isn’t like the moms portrayed in TV shows and most movies.  As all moms know, there are crazy expectations for modern moms. Mothers are expected to wear a size 2 while pulling down a  six-figure salary and home schooling the children—if you aren’t doing it all, you’re a failure!

Reviews of Motherhood are still coming out but as a mom of two daughters, I am excited to see this film. I’m also grateful and glad to see the hardest job in the world represented on the big screen in a realistic way.
