Celebrity Couples: Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jamie Kennedy Split

Jennifer Love Hewitt and boyfriend Jamie Kennedy have split up, after over a year together, a spokesperson for the couple told PEOPLE. The unlikely but adorable couple were a permanent red carpet fixture, and Kennedy supported his lady when the press took nasty shots at her perceived weight gain.

“There are people in your life who are just supportive and who just look at you and they see who you are,” Jennifer told Ellen on her show last year. “Jamie really saw who I was as a person more than anybody had ever done in my whole life. I think that’s for me when I sort of went, ‘Oh, wow.’ ”

No details were shared about why the pair split.
