Daily Buzz: Jessica Simpson Talks John Mayer on ‘Oprah’, Naomi Campbell Strikes Again, More ‘Hurt Locker’ Drama

Jessica Simpson will be on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” today and she’ll have her chance to dish about former boyfriend, John Mayer. After the outspoken singer shared intimate details with Playboy about his relationship with Simpson and other famous women, Jessica tells the queen of talk that  she’s “a little bit angry” at her ex. Jessica also takes a stab at critics about her weight, saying she “loves her curves.”

Supermodel and well-known hothead Naomi Campbell is being sought by New York officials after her limo driver claims that she assaulted him and then fled when he called 911. This isn’t the first time Campbell has been in trouble because of her temper and ‘her help.’ In 2006, she was charged with assaulting her housekeeper.

After ‘Hurt Locker’ producer Nicolas Chartier was un-invited to this Sunday’s Academy Awards because of emails soliciting votes, now the producers of the film — including Kathryn Bigelow are being sued by an Army sergeant who claims the film is based on his life. Jeffrey S. Sarver says that screenwriter Mark Boal based “virtually all of the situations” in the movie on him and claims that he even coined the phrase “the hurt locker.”
