At Elton John’s annual Oscars party on Sunday, White confirmed to PEOPLE that she’ll be on the show. About the overwhelming support from fans since she appeared in the Super Bowl’s most buzzed about Snickers commercial? “I don’t know why or how,” she says, “but it’s been wonderful,” she says.

A normally confident Simon Cowell appeared on Jay Leno last night and started squirming when the late-night host started asking him about rumors of his recent engagement to girlfriend and American Idol makeup artist Mezhgan Hussainy. Finally, Leno got what he wanted out of the AI judge, who said, “Well, I do have somebody in my life now, Jay, yes. And I kinda made a decision this year to make somebody happy.”

Marie Osmond son’s funeral was held on Monday in Provo, Utah.  The entertainer laid her son, Michael Bryan, to rest on Monday afternoon at the Church of Latter Day Saints. Attended by her brother Donny Osmond and her family, Marie briefly spoke at the funeral saying, “I’m proud of my son and I honor his birth mother who’s here today who gave me the greatest gift. Thank you for those beautiful 18 years.”
