Daily Buzz: GLAAD Honors Celebs, ‘Alice’ Stays at #1, Donors Support Haim Funeral

Cynthia Nixon and Joy Behar were honored at the GLAAD Media Awards last night in New York. Behar received the “Excellence in Media Award” and Nixon was given Vito Russo Award for making a significant difference in promoting equal rights in the gay community.
Tim Burton’s “Alice In Wonderland” is set to top the box office again this weekend, with $17 million in sales just on Friday. The 3-D fantasy flick starring Johnny Depp has already earned over $200 million since it’s release.
The City of Toronto and celebrity memorabilia site Startifacts have donates money and resources for teen idol Corey Haim‘s funeral set for Tuesday in Canada. The private ceremony will be held in Toronto, where the Canadian-born Haim began his career.
