Daily Buzz: Heigl Leaving ‘Grey’s,’ ‘Idol’ Top 12, iPad Pre-Orders Start Today!

Katherine Heigl maybe leaving Grey’s Anatomy after six years on the hit drama. Following a controversial few years including well-publicized complaints from both Heigl and other show staffers about each other, creator Shonda Rhimes has reportedly agreed to let the actress out of her contract. We’ll see what Izzie’s fate is — Katherine apparently hasn’t been back to the set after she was scheduled to return after maternity leave.

American Idol is down to the top twelve contestants, which was full of upsets last night. Alex Lambert and Lilly Scott – two favorites — were sent home. Lilly Scott left the stage saying, “A lot of incredible talent is going home tonight. I just don’t know what America wants to hear.”
