‘Sherlock Holmes’ Earns $24.9 Million Opening Day

Sherlock Holmes starring Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law, led the movie pack this weekend according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The PG-13 rated movie, directed by Guy Ritchie, opened on Christmas Day in 3,626 locations.

I’m not surprised by Sherlock Holmes success at the box office.  Read my review of Sherlock Holmes-–it’s the best buddy movie since Lethal Weapon.
