[buzzGLOSS] ‘Michael Jackson’s This is It’ Opens Today

When Michael Jackson died in June, he was just days away from launching a 50-show run of comeback concerts in London.  Video footage of the preparations for these performances have become Michael Jackson’s This Is It,  a documentary opening worldwide today.

There will be simultaneous showings around the globe of the documentary as well as a star-studded premiere in Los Angeles.  The LA event at the Nokia Theatre, a 7,100-seat concert venue across the street from Staples Center.

The film shows the King of Pop crafting his moves and performing some of his most beloved hits. The documentary was culled from more than 100 hours of rehearsal footage.
