[buzzGLOSS] “Say Anything” Turns 20…In Classic Lloyd Dobler Style

One of my favorite movies,“Say Anything…”, is celebrating it’s 20th Anniversary and to commemorate such a milestone, 20th Century Fox is releasing an Anniversary Edition of the DVD.

To promote the release, they enlisted the help of wanna-be Lloyd Doblers (in case you haven’t seen the iconic 80s chick-flick, he’s the lead character played by John Cusack) who took to the streets of Manhattan dressed in jeans and a tan coat, raising their boom boxes up high.

It all ended with the DC-band — appropriately called the Lloyd Dobler Effect performing Peter Gabriel’s “In Your Eyes.” If you’ve seen the movie, you know why this was the perfect finale.
