Balloon Boy’s mom admitted the whole saga was a hoax!

Court records released today show that Mayumi Heene, mom of balloon boy Falcon Heene, told sheriff’s deputies she and her husband Richard knew their son was at their Fort Collins home!

She allegedly told investigators the incident was a hoax meant to make them more marketable to the media.  Richard Heene’s lawyer, David Lane, says “allegations are cheap” and that he’s waiting to see the evidence.

Investigators say they will recommend criminal charges against the parents.

Records released today include an affidavit submitted to a judge for a warrant to search the Heene home.
