Girl Scout Cookie Recall: Lemon Chalet Cremes
Posted on February 26, 2010 by Lolita Carrico
Girl scout cookie maker Little Brownies Baker announced a recall today of Lemon Chalet Cremes girl scout cookies. The popular girl scout cookies were recalled due to complaints of a strange odor and taste, though no bacteria was found.
Though the cookies are safe to eat and there has been no official recall announcement by the Girl Scouts of America, the manufacturer is recalling the cookies because they “simply [are] not up to our quality standards.”
Those who have purchased one of the affected girl scout cookie boxes can call 1-800-962-1718 or visit www.littlebrowniebakers.com for more information.
