Jon Gosselin: Apartment Burglarized, Vandals Slash Bed with Butcher Knife?

Jon Gosselin came back from Christmas with his children to his New York apartment had been burglarized. Gosselin’s attorney, Mark Jay Heller, made a statement to the media about the incident:

[He] called me this afternoon . . . when he entered his apartment in Manhattan and was horrified, disheartened and saddened to observe the devastation of his furniture, clothing and personal belongings, which were apparently slashed with a butcher knife by a very troubled and sick perpetrator. Jon immediately contacted me and facilitated the able assistance of the New York City Police Department who immediately dispatched an experienced detective to Jon’s apartment.

According to Heller, there was a note that was “speared” into his wooden dresser. Items stolen from Gosselin’s apartment included dishes, a television, CD player, coffee maker, and a Nintendo Wii game. Some of Jon’s clothing, luggage and bedding was slashed!

Who could do such a thing? Maybe someone who Jon has done wrong in the past year?

Karma is real Jon Gosselin. I’ll bet Jon is wishing he wasn’t banned from talking to the TV news shows—he probably needs to make some money to get new stuff.

This is something Jon’s likely cooked up to get himself some media attention. This man’s lied so many times to so many people, that it’s not hard to imagine him setting up a scene where he could legally call police to file a burglary charge.

Now, perhaps Hailey had a hand in it. She might have initially messed the place up a bit..perhaps she took something he’d likely told her he bought for her, instead of the kids…and she might have torn up the bed..but you can be pretty sure Jon added to the carnage by embellishing the mess so he’d have more to complain about.

I hope a good detective can sort stuff out..but if the only prints on all the stuff, are Hailey’s and Jon’s, it’ll be her word against his as to who broke or messed up what.

This is all a bid for attention. Hmm..perhaps if we all went to Staples and bought one of their ‘easy’ buttons they show on their commercials…and all pressed the buttons at the same time…do you think perhaps we could make Jon & Company vanish from the face of this Earth?

All in favor, raise their hands, and order an ‘easy’ button.
