conanandy 300x222 Conan OBrien Hits The RoadConan O’Brien is hitting the road, and this time — he’s going because he wants to. The former late night host is embarking on a 30-city tour in the US and Canada next month. “Legally Prohibited From Being Funny on Television” kicks off in Eugene, Oregon on April 12th.

O’Brien’s website — TeamCoCo.com — dubs the show as “a night of music, comedy, hugging, and the occasional awkward silence,” and will include his “Tonight Show” sidekick Andy Richter as well as his former band.

Speculation about a stage show began last week, when a Phoenix, AZ venue began selling tickets for  a at that time unannounced Conan appearance.
