Friends of Alec Baldwin Blame Kim Basinger for Press Leak?

Friends of Alec Baldwin blame his ex-wife Kim Basinger for the drama after an early morning 911 call by his daughter Ireland resulted in the actor being rushed to a Manhattan hospital.  A friend of Baldwin told the New York Daily News:

This is another example of Kim’s sickness. Alec came back from the hospital and there were cameras outside his house at 2 a.m. Gee, I wonder how they found out?

Baldwin was taken to Lenox Hill Hospital at 12:55 a.m. but after doctors examined him and saw he was fine, the actor was released to go home.  The New York Daily News reports that Baldwin got into an argument with his daughter, took an Ambien and had a bad reaction.”

There was no evidence that Alec Baldwin was trying to kill himself.  No word from Alec’s ex about the incident but these two have been battling for years in the press, so I’d expect a statement from Kim Basinger soon.
