Daily Buzz: Amy Winehouse Laid to Rest, Kat Von D and Jesse James Split

Trouble singer Amy Winehouse was cremated today after a ceremony held at a North London synagogue paid tribute to her life. The 27-year old “rehab” singer was found dead Saturday morning in London following years of battling addiction in the spotlight.

“Goodnight my angel,” Winehouse’s father Mitch said at the close of his eulogy before friends, family and colleagues including Kelly Osbourne, Mark Ronson and others. “Sleep tight. Mommy and Daddy love you ever so much.”

LA Ink reality star Kat Von D and Jesse James have called off their engagement after six months. Kat Von D shared the news on Twitter yesterday, writing:

“I am no longer w Jesse. And out of respect for him, his family and myself, thats all the info I’d like to share.”
