Daily Buzz: ‘Harry Potter’ Breaks Opening Day Record, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony Split
“Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2″ hit the ground running by opening with the biggest box office numbers ever for opening day — to the tune of a record $92.1 million dollars on Friday. The previous record was set by the Twilight Saga sequel, “New Moon” at $72 million. Box office trackers expect the film to break opening weekend records as well.
News of Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony’s shocking split is still making waves since the initial announcement yesterday. Various tabloids and entertainment sites are dissecting the couple’s seven year marriage noting that some insiders sensed trouble with the relationship when J. Lo attended the BAFTA Gala on July 9th to meet Prince William and Kate Middleton without her famous hubby, instead taking her mother and just a week earlier, Lopez hit the beach with the kids on July 4th solo as well.
Tiger Woods’ ex-wife Elin Nordegren is making news because of a billionaire new beau. An interesting twist? The woman who started the whole Tiger Woods infidelity scandal — Rachel Uchitel — also was linked to Elin’s new boyfriend, Jamie Dingman. TMZ reports that Uchitel and Dingman were living together when the Tiger Woods scandal broke.
