After a big opening month with over $1.6 billion in sales worldwide, James Cameron’s “Avatar” took home the big honors at last night’s Golden Globe awards. Cameron won the Best Director statue while the movie won the award for Best Drama.
George Clooney‘s 2-hour telethon scheduled for Friday, January 22nd is bringing in more big stars for the cause. In addition to Clooney, stars lining up to co-host or perform include Wyclef Jean,Anderson Cooper, Bono, Justin Timberlake, Alicia Keys, Sting and Christina Aguilera. The telethon will air at 8pm ET on MTV and many additional networks.
