People Magazine broke the news that American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez and hubby of seven years Marc Anthony are calling it quits. The couple, who married in 2004 and renewed their vows just last year released a joint statement saying:

“We have decided to end our marriage. This was a very difficult decision. We have come to an amicable conclusion on all matters. It is a painful time for all involved and we appreciate the respect of our privacy at this time.”

This is the third failed marriage for J. Lo, 41, and second for Marc Anthony, 42. The couple have two children — twins Max and Emme, 3 years old. Anthony has two children from a previous marriage.

Jennifer Lopez Rocked ‘Saturday Night Live’, Spoof of ‘We Are the World’

Last night, Lopez showed viewers that she’s funny and made fun of herself most of all!  She was great.

Jennifer Lopez and Fred Armisen sketch about Telemundo covering the Olympics was laugh out loud funny!

Lopez’s Saturday Night Live gig is important for her now since she is no longer signed to Epic Records. Lopez’s manager Benny Medina says Lopez is in talks with various major labels.

jlo 222x300 Buzz Update: Jennifer Lopez, Madonna on Glee, Conan Countdown BeginsFox’s hit small-screen musical, Glee will be getting some major diva-power behind them this season — Jennifer Lopez could be joining the cast for a very un-diva-like guest role. As the cafeteria lady.

“I have a meeting with Jennifer Lopez in a couple weeks,” creator Ryan Murphy told the Los Angeles Times at the Golden Globes, where the show won for best TV comedy. “She wants to come on. We want her to be a cafeteria lady.”

And, another diva will be a big part of a future episode as well. Madonna gave the show rights to her entire catalog and according to “Glee” star Lea Michele, “”We have a huge, all-girls Madonna song and dance number that we’re doing tomorrow. I think the fans will not be disappointed in the Madonna episode… It’s big and it’s powerful.”

Will this be the last week for Conan O’Brien on the Tonight Show? No announcement as yet, but all signs point to the fact that Friday will be his last day on the job. After promising big guests, O’Brien’s lineup of guests for the rest of the week includes Quentin Tarantino, Adam Sandler, Joel McHale, Robin Williams, Barry Manilow, Tom Hanks and Will Ferrell.

The pop diva recovered quickly (see video below)and like a pro, hopped right back up and finished her song, “Louboutins.” The flub was edited out of re-broadcasts of the show.

Oprah Winfrey, who announced last week that she’ll be ending her long-running talk show in 2011, is taking on a new project with HBO. Harpo Films, her production company, announced that they are partnering with HBO on pilot about a woman who leaves her perfect family for the dark side of Los Angeles, where she indulges her secret fantasies and desires.

Miley Cyrus turns 17 today and celebrated with a party in New York City last night! Miley’s mom surprised her with the ‘80s-themed party at the Canal Room. Tish said she went with the retro theme because Miley “loves the ‘80s.  The fashion, the big hair– she thinks it’s so funky.”
