Daily Buzz: Robert Pattinson on ‘Today’, ‘Shutter Island’ Rules, Simon Cowell’s Engagement Ring

Starting tomorrow Rob Pattinson will be promoting Remember Me.  He has a number of appearances lined up including ‘The Today Show’, ‘Late Night with Jimmy Fallon’ on Monday.  On Tuesday March 2 he has ‘The View‘ where he appears with co-star Emilie de Ravin and ‘The Daily Show‘ lined up.

The new romantic drama Remember Me is premiering March 1.

Shutter Island topped the box office chart this weekend, selling a studio-estimated $22.2 million worth of tickets in the U.S. and Canada from Friday through Sunday. Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio make a profitable pair as this is the second weekend that Shutter Island has ruled the box-office. The film raked in over $40 million in it’s opening weekend.

Simon Cowell is called the King of Mean but the man has good taste in engagement rings! Simon Cowell showed off the ring he gave to Mezhgan Hussainy over the weekend and it’s a ROCK! The ring the American Idol judge gave his wife-to-be is estimated to be worth in the neighborhood of $500,000! Call Simon mean if you want, but an engagement ring worth half-million bucks isn’t mean in my book…
