Taylor Lautner, Miley Cyrus Win at Kids’ Choice Awards

inter Taylor Lautner, Miley Cyrus Win at Kids Choice AwardsTwilight Saga hunk Taylor Lautner and Teen Queen Miley Cyrus were the big winners at the Kids’ Choice Awards tonight!

MTV News reports that Lautner and Cyrus took home the biggest honors at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards. The award for Favorite Movie Actor went to  The Twilight Saga: New Moon star, who told the crowd:

Is this happening? I have to admit, I have always dreamt of winning one of these orange blimps. Seriously. And I can’t believe I’m finally holding one.

The award for Favorite Movie Actress went to Miley Cyrus, who ran away from a slime-covered Katie Perry!  A very happy Miley said:

Thank you, Katy, for not sliming me,” she said. “It really got you, but good thing we both wear wigs. … Thank you guys so much!

Michaele Salahi, one half of the couple who made news for crashing the White House State dinner party last year, has been confirmed as a “cast” member of the new “Real Housewives of D.C.” The program premieres in July, but both Michaele and her husband, Tareq, have already shot about a dozen episodes for Bravo reality show.

Miley is starting the promotional rounds for her new movie, The Last Song, which opens March 31.  The film is based on the Nicholas Sparks novel and Miley plays a rebellious teen who spends the summer with her estranged father in a small town.

In the midst of personal drama for it’s star Sandra Bullock, The Blind Side DVD hits stores today.  I love this movie and if you haven’t seen it, go and get the DVD! Sandra Bullock is amazing.

The pop diva recovered quickly (see video below)and like a pro, hopped right back up and finished her song, “Louboutins.” The flub was edited out of re-broadcasts of the show.

Oprah Winfrey, who announced last week that she’ll be ending her long-running talk show in 2011, is taking on a new project with HBO. Harpo Films, her production company, announced that they are partnering with HBO on pilot about a woman who leaves her perfect family for the dark side of Los Angeles, where she indulges her secret fantasies and desires.

Miley Cyrus turns 17 today and celebrated with a party in New York City last night! Miley’s mom surprised her with the ‘80s-themed party at the Canal Room. Tish said she went with the retro theme because Miley “loves the ‘80s.  The fashion, the big hair– she thinks it’s so funky.”
