NYC Subway Riders Go Pantless [VIDEO]
New Yorkers got a bit more than they expected on the Subway yesterday: hundreds of fellow passengers hit the public transit system pantless. Yes, pantless.
In honor of the 9th annual No Pants Subway Ride, members of Improv Everywhere, a group that says its mission is to cause “scenes of chaos and joy in public places,” hopped on various trains and removed their pants. The idea is to act like nothing unusual is happening and read the paper or converse with other passengers…without pants.
According to the New York Daily News, “the pant-less pranksters ended up in Union Square, where self-proclaimed pants fanatic Melina Davis, 21, of Harlem welcomed them with posters that read “God Wears Pants!’”
