‘Glee’ Cast Heading to the White House
The Obamas have a bit more planned this year for Easter than hiding eggs for visitors. Michelle Obama has personally invited the cast of FOX’s Emmy-award winning hit, Glee, to perform at theĀ White House’s annual Easter Egg Roll on April 5th.
Of course, show producers couldn’t pass up the opportunity to head to D.C., so they accepted and the stars took to Twitter to spread the news:
“so unreal. love me some obamz” and “white. house. obama. yes. kbye,” Glee star Kevin McHale tweeted on Monday, followed by his co-stars, Naya Rivera who sent, “Two words… White house!!!!!!” and Amber Riley who enthusiastically tweeted “Singing at the white house. I’m in total disbelief… So excited to meet my President and First Lady!!!! Yay!!!”
The internet is buzzing over a rumor that President Obama used a teleprompter when speaking with a class of 6th grade students last week.
After the chaos that ensued following the mere mention that President Obama may schedule his “State of the Union” address for February 2nd — which in case you didn’t know is also the date of the highly anticipated, three-hour (!!) season premiere of ABC’s “Lost” — the Commander in Chief will be picking another date.
