Robert Pattinson: Nervous about Fight Scenes in ‘Remember Me’

GLAMOUR.com in the UK interviewed Robert Pattinson as a part of his UK Remember Me media blitz. Pattinson revealed to the magazine his nervousness at shooting the film’s fight scenes:

I haven’t been in a fight for quite a long time. I’m too scared now; if I got into a fight now someone would probably just kill me in 30 seconds!”

The fight I had at the beginning I was doing with a stunt guy and I hit him with what I thought was my full strength – I hit his face about four times, and every time I was like ‘I’m sorry I’m sorry’, and he was like ‘It’s fine, I can’t even feel it’, and I was like ‘doesn’t it even hurt?’…That was kind of an ego deflator!

With a face like Rob’s, is it any wonder he’s more of a lover than a fighter? In Remember Me, Pattinson plays Tyler, who is an angry young man. Remember Me is a story about the healing power of love, the strength of family, and the importance of every single moment you get with those you love.

The surprise ending of Remember Me will knock you out of your seat because it will completely change your perception of this movie.

First of all, Remember Me is Robert Pattinson’s breakout role. This film shows that Pattinson is so much more than teen vampire Edward Cullen. Rob plays Tyler, a rebellious young man in New York City who has a strained relationship with his father (Pierce Brosnan) ever since tragedy separated their family. It doesn’t matter if you are a Twilight fan (like me) or you’ve never seen a frame of the Twilight Saga series—if you watch Remember Me, you’ll see the talent of Robert Pattinson. He’ll be around the movie industry for a very long time. The boy has some acting chops, y’all.

The second reason I loved this film is because even though it’s a romantic drama, it’s about FAMILY. The story of Tyler’s family and his girlfriend Ally’s famly is central to the story. Ally is Emilie de Ravin with a sweetness that is sickening but it’s very real. At the end of the day, Remember Me is a story about the healing power of love, the strength of family, and the importance of every single moment you get with those you love. Because it could be gone in an instant.

I loved Remember Me for many reasons that I can’t tell you because it will spoil the movie for you. But please GO AND SEE THIS MOVIE with someone you love. Your spouse. Your brother. Your mother. Do not wait to see this movie. See it now—-and I promise, you won’t be sorry. It’s so much more than a love story between Robert Pattinson and Emilie de Ravin.

‘Twilight Saga: Eclipse’ Trailer to Air Online Wednesday

Twilight fans prepare for major meltdown! We’ve been hearing buzz that The Twilight Saga: Eclipse mini trailer will air online Wednesday. This trailer is less than 30 seconds with the full blown trailer running during the Remember Me coming attractions on March 12th, this Friday.

The pre-trailer /mini-trailer will be announced on March 10th via Summit Entertainment’s Twitter account, (twitter.com/twilight). The folks at Summit sure know how to build buzz, don’t they? They give us Twilight Addicts just enough of a fix to hook us in and keep us wanting more!

Let the games begin! We still have three months to go before the release of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. The hype is fabulous yet scary, right?

Robert Pattinson Talks About Romance on “Early Show” [VIDEO]

robertpattinsoncbs 300x210 Robert Pattinson Talks About Romance on Early Show [VIDEO] Robert Pattinson made a stop at CBS’ “The Early Show” this morning to continue promoting his new film, “Remember Me” and after chatting with Maggie Rodriguez about his hair (watch the clip below), he moved onto his romantic role and about the craziness that surrounds him and his newfound celebrity.

R-Pattz gushed about “Remember Me,” saying:

“It feels like a late 70s, romantic… romantic dramas [back then] were a little bit deeper than they are now. Everyone in it is a good person.”

When talking about the mania that surrounds him whenever he steps out? Robert said:

“It’s just… being surrounded by hysteria. I hope I can look back on it, and have very very fond memories of this completely surreal time in my life.”

Robert Pattinson Talks Up Kristen Stewart’s Movie, Visits ‘The Daily Show’ [Video]

Robert Pattinson has been talking up Kristen Stewart’s new films, just like she did for his new film Remember Me. The English hunk told MTV News:

I saw a really early cut of The Runaways. It was really good. And Welcome to the Rileys is really good too. But I saw both things at really early cuts, so I don’t know really what they’re like now. But Welcome to the Rileys is amazing.

Both “Runaways” and “Rileys” premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January to rave reviews, but it’s good that Rob is supporting his now public girlfriend Kristen Stewart.

Pattinson visited the Daily Show Tuesday to promote Remember Me and was greeted by lots of high-pitched screaming fans in the audience and Jon Stewart said, “Ladies, there is plenty of JStew to go around!”

Rob told Jon Stewart that screaming hordes of fans were just part of his day. Stewart replied:

When am I going to hear that f***ing song?! That’s what I want to know!

Robert Pattinson Says Betty White is Sexy on ‘The View’ [Video]

Robert Pattinson’s guest gig on The View yesterday was the usual mania with a crowd of shrieking women outside the studio! Most of the crowd had been waiting since dawn to catch a peek of the Twilight star.

Rob visited the ladies of The View looking like he just rolled out of bed. Pattinson had tousled hair and half-untucked shirt—and he looked fabulous! MTV News reports that View host Barbara Walters had naughty ideas about her guest:

Rob exchanged an awkward hug with Joy Behar and Barbara Walters (who looked like she was considering a stealth butt-grab on His Patzness) before sitting down to chat.

But you have to love Rob’s answer when by The View ladies if he would date an older woman:

I think Betty White is probably one of the sexiest women in America. She’s vibrant; it’s sexy. I think the more age, the better.
