Daily Buzz: ‘Avatar’ Makes $27 Million, Cost of Tiger’s Divorce, Susan vs Taylor?

James Cameron’s new movie, Avatar is on it’s way to a hit weekend at the box office.  Avatar took in $27 million at the box-office on Friday, according to Hollywood.com Box Office.

What will Tiger Wood’s divorce cost him?  Since Elin Nordegren has hired a celebrity divorce attorney, there is much speculation in the media about how Tiger Woods estate would be divided up in the event of a divorce.  PEOPLE reports that Tiger Woods has a net worth of $600 million.

Woods and Nordegren are Florida residents and would not be subject to California’s 50-50 community property laws.  But the couple lived in California earlier in the marriage and they still own a home there, so there is speculation that Elin could file for divorce in California.

It looks like Susan Boyle might beat Taylor Swift for the best selling album of 2009!

Boyle’s debut album, I Dreamed a Dream has already sold 1.8 million albums since it’s release in the U.S. on Nov. 24.  Susan Boyle is predicted to surpass the sales record of 2.7 million albums that Taylor Swift’s Fearless sold this year
