Up In The Air won Best Adapted Screenplay and the winner of Best Original Screenplay went to Inglourious Basterds by Quentin Tarantino.

Jeff Bridges won Best Actor for Crazy Heart and Best Director went to Kathryn Bigelow who made The Hurt Locker. This win makes Kathryn Bigelow the first woman to ever win the award for Best Director!
