Marie’s brother Donny Osmond is asking fans and friends to support his sister with prayers, he told USA Today:

Please pray for my sister and her family.

Jay Leno returns to the Tonight Show this week! Leno will return to The Tonight Show on Monday, less than a year after moving to prime time and turning the show over to Conan O’Brien.

According to PEOPLE, gymnast Nastia Liukin and figure skater Evan Lysacek have been dating since since last summer, but Evan told Entertainment Tonight that he was single last week. Either way, seen together in this photo to the left, they’d make an adorable couple!

Do you put out press releases when you split up? No? Well, apparently Ryan Phillipe and Abbie Cornish are sparring about who broke up with who via their PR reps, who have issued dueling press releases. As we reported this morning, the couple recently broke up but who dumped who is up for debate. On Sunday, Abbie’s publicist told People Magazine that Abbie ditched a cheating Ryan, saying:

“Abbie ended the relationship with Ryan and she moved out of their home….”

Then today, Ryan’s flack put out a statement saying:

“Ryan ended the relationship with Abbie recently while she was in Australia and asked her to remove her things from his residence, which she did this weekend.”

Our question: Does anyone really care?

Jay Leno is heading back to “The Tonight Show” on March 1st with an impressive line-up to mark his return to his previous roots. On debut day, Leno will host Olympian Lindsey Vonn, Jamie Foxx and Brad Paisley and later in the week will feature Sarah Palin, Shaun White, the cast of “Jersey Shore”, Simon Cowell and Kristen Stewart.

The material girl’s collection would include everything from apparel and accessories to intimates and footwear. What would the line be called? Names in the running include Material Girl for the apparel and Truth or Dare for the lingerie and underwear.

There’s more drama for Jay Leno: his long-time band leader Kevin Eubanks may be leaving the show after 18 years. “Kevin has expressed interest in pursuing personal touring and recording opportunities,” CBS said in a statement. While Eubanks will lead The Tonight Show band on March 1 when Leno takes back his late-night post, it could be short-lived.

Conan O’Brien’s the former Tonight Show host is paying for staff severance out of his own pocket.

According to TMZ, the Tonight Show stagehands were not covered in his exit package with NBC, so he has promised to pay the nearly 50-person crew “at least six weeks severance out of his own pocket.”

The 2010 Academy Award nominations are a nice mix of indie and commercial picks! From the history-making blockbuster Avatar to the crowd-pleasing The Blind Side, there is something for everyone in this year’s Oscar race!

Jimmy Kimmel says Jay Leno is a tattle tale? Kimmel is crying foul after Leno cried to Oprah this week, according to Huffington Post. Jimmy had little sympathy for the Tonight Show host:

Excuse me if I look like I’ve been crying, it’s been an Oprah-whelming day for me.

Daily Buzz: Conan’s Classy Goodbye, Sandra Bullock Shushes, Jeff Bridges Wins Again!

On his final Tonight Show, Conan O’Brien admitted that giving up the job he loved was the hardest thing he had ever done. Conan told his audience:

Making this choice has been enormously difficult.This is the best job in the world, and I absolutely loved doing it.

Sandra Bullock won the SAG award for her role in The Blind Side but she’s been hushing any talk of winning an Oscar. When a reporter at the SAG Awards on Saturday suggested Bullock stands a good chance at winning her first Oscar, the actress “shushed” him mid-sentence and would not allow him to finish his question!

Jeff Bridges was honored Saturday as best actor at the SAG awards for his portrayal of a hard-luck country music singer in the film Crazy Heart. Bridges also took home a Golden Globe for the role, so there is a big Oscar buzz for the actor!

Conan O’Brien: $45 Million Enough to be Nice to NBC?

Conan O’Brien gets $45 million for walking away but there’s a condition: He can’t bad-mouth NBC. O’Brien’s last night as the host of The Tonight Show is Friday.

Jeff Gaspin, chairman of NBC Universal Television Entertainment told the Wall Street Journal:

We wanted to give him a graceful exit. Hopefully he will be graceful.

Part of getting the $45 million dollar pay off, the network insisted on including a seven-month nondisparagement clause as part of a settlement. NBC has been hammered by the press and by other late night hosts after the news broke that the network planned to put Leno back into late night.

Jay Leno will return to The Tonight Show hot-seat on March 1.

YouTube will partner with Sundance for online movie rentals. YouTube will start testing a new online movie rental service from the Sundance Film Festival.

No official word about Conan O’Brien and his final Tonight Show but the host has been hinting and joking that Friday will be his final show. On Tuesday night, Conan joked during his monologue that he was “just three days away from the biggest drinking binge in history.”
