Last night, Lopez showed viewers that she’s funny and made fun of herself most of all!  She was great.

Jennifer Lopez and Fred Armisen sketch about Telemundo covering the Olympics was laugh out loud funny!

Lopez’s Saturday Night Live gig is important for her now since she is no longer signed to Epic Records. Lopez’s manager Benny Medina says Lopez is in talks with various major labels.

2010 Winter Olympics Schedule, ‘We Are the World’ Debut Tonight

281x211 2010 Winter Olympics Schedule, We Are the World Debut TonightThe 2010 Winter Olympics start tonight and you don’t want to miss a thing!

Qualifying rounds for ski jumping and alpine skiing get under way today but the day’s main attraction is the opening ceremony.  Coverage begins on NBC at 7:30 p.m. ET. The remake of “We Are the World” is set to make its debut at some point during NBC’s coverage of the opening ceremony.

Lionel Richie and Quincy Jones have headed up We Are the World as a benefit for the victims of the recent earthquake in Haiti, “We Are the World — 25 for Haiti” features several artists such as Janet Jackson, Jordin Sparks, Kanye West and others.

The first full day of athletic competition begins Saturday, with events including alpine skiing (men’s downhill at 11:45 a.m. PT), speed skating (men’s 5,000-meter at noon PT), biathlon (women’s 7.50-kilometer sprint at 1 p.m. PT) and freestyle skiing (women’s moguls at 4:30 p.m. PT and 7:30 p.m. PT).

wearetheworld3 300x200 80+ Stars Re Record We Are The World To Benefit HaitiTwenty-five years after the original was recorded, 80 musicians gathered in the same studio last night to re-record “We Are The World.” In 1985, Quincy Jones organized artists to record the Lionel Richie and  Michael Jackson-penned anthem to benefit African famine relief. This year, a new group of artists came together to benefit victims of the Haitian earthquake.

Among the star-studded group who descended on Henson Studios in Los Angeles last night were Pink, Barbra Streisand, Natalie Cole, Joel Madden, Joe Jonas, Enrique Iglesias, Kanye West, Jennifer Hudson, Celine Dion, Snoop Dogg, LL Cool J and Wyclef Jean.

“We Are the World — 25 for Haiti” will debut later this month during the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics on NBC.
