AMC’s hit series ‘Mad Men’ about the 1960′s advertising industry has made such an impact on American pop culture that they’re getting the ultimate tribute: their own line of limited-edition Barbie dolls.
Mattel plans on releasing four ‘Mad Men’ themed dolls as part of the Barbie Fashion Model Collection, a series for adult Barbie collectors. which will retail for $74.95 each.
So, will the Don and Betty Draper replicas come with cigarettes and martinis? No, a Mattel spokesperson told the New York Times. “Certain things are appropriate, and certain things aren’t.”
