Gloss Find: HP Mini 210 in Luscious Rose

I hope I am not stepping on geekGLOSS feet by sharing this epic love, but ours is a passion not to be denied…

AHEM. Anyway, a few weeks ago, I was invited to an HP editor’s preview, and got to fondle the new HP Mini 210 in various colors and outfits. To say I had a physical reaction would be putting it rather mildly.

However, it was one of those situations where we were allowed to look and touch but not SPEAK ABOUT IT until the release. No tweeting for me. And thus, ours became a secret love — which excites me all the more.

Now the proverbial cat is out of the bag, and starting at $329, the 10-inch-screened Mini 210 comes in new colors like charcoal, crimson red, lavender frost, luminous rose, and ocean drive. Obviously, my favorite was immediately apparent.

The new take on the Mini 210 has a standard six-cell battery, which means nearly 11 hours of battery life — this beats my MacBook Pro!!! It also includes a built-in webcam, microphone, and Dolby Advanced Audio system, a keyboard that is 93 percent the size of a regular keyboard — honestly the main reason I’ve thus far avoided a netbook.

I will be as bold as to say if I had to choose, I’d  rather have this than an iPad. And not because it comes in a cool matching carrying case with travel mouse. It’s just the most adorably awesome invention of our time.

Seriously, universe, would the owner of this, blogging away, possibly not be the most fashionable entity at Fashion Week? Obviously.
