Gloss How-To: Fall Makeup Trends with Carmindy

I’ve been a fan of Carmindy for years — I watch her religiously on What Not to Wear, and we often end up at beauty-related events.

Every time we cross paths, she’s incredibly sweet — not to mention beautiful — and always remembers me, which blows me away. She’s also a fountain of valuable beauty tips and information, and just yesterday, we both took a break from the crazy schedule of New York Fashion Week to chat about all things beauty.

As we started out, I asked Carmindy what trends she’s most excited about right now, and she said she loves the return to the classic beauty of the ’50s — i.e. Mad Men — and gave some excellent tips on how to create the look! We then moved on to other vital issues: i.e. my sunburn!

She was the perfect person to speak to. Carmindy is a Pond’s spokesperson and shared her fall beauty tips in celebration of the launch of the new Wet Cleansing Towelettes. Pond’s is a brand my own grandma used — who had the most beautiful skin ever — and is a classic beauty brand — it does the job!
