Scary times at the beach this summer…and I’m not just talking about my skin-melting sunburn.
While many celebrities turn to plastic surgery to get the perfect body, some of them end up looking worse than before they went under the knife. If your body resembles any of these mishaps or if you’re looking for useful swimsuit tips, Mary McCoy from Longitude Swimwear has the perfect advice to conceal these flaws just in time for the last few weekends at the beach.
Bust-ed
Heidi Montag and Elizabeth Kitt from Bachelor Pad went a little too far and ended up with breasts that are oversized compared to their small frame. If you’re narrower in the midsection and heavier on top McCoy suggest wearing a fitted tankini that holds you in but still shows off your waistline. Try Beach Belle’s Sweet Thing Halter Tankini Swimsuit.
$68, available at swimsuitsforall.com
Tummy Tucked-Up
Tara Reid’s poorly executed tummy tuck left her with saggy skin in the stomach area. McCoy suggests wearing a swimsuit that has more material around the midriff, like ruching to hide the excess skin. Longitude’s Champagne Dot Surplice One Piece Swimsuit is the perfect option.
$88 and available at JCPenney
Scarred for Life
Real Housewives of NJ star, Danielle Staub, and Jersey Shore cast member, JWoww, were recently reported as “scary looking” as a result of their plastic surgeries. To cover up incision scars McCoy suggests Longitude’s On The Line Mesh High Neck One Piece Swimsuit.
$78, and available at JCPenney
Dis-Com”boob”ulated
Celebrities who get breast augmentation, like Kelly Bensimon from The Real Housewives, can sometimes end up looking disproportionate. McCoy suggests wearing a halter top in a bold print, like Miraclesuit’s Dot Croc Garbo Halter, to get a more even look.
