madonnalourdes 300x242 Madonna: Pop Icon, Mom, Fashion DesignerMaterial Mom Madonna is adding a new role to her list of accomplishments: fashion designer. Her fashion brand, dubbed MG Icon, will launch this summer with a junior’s line exclusively for Macy’s. Partnering with the company behind Candie’s and Badgley Mischka, the line will include apparel, footwear, handbags and jewelry. The affordable pieces — ranging from $12-$40 — were inspired by Madonna’s own daughter, Lourdes. The 13-year-old even helped mom design some of the items.

“Bring[ing] my fashion ideas to consumers is very exciting for me,” Madonna said in a statement. Next year, the mom of four will expand into beauty and fragrance products for juniors as well.
