In a somewhat controversial move, a government panel is telling women in their 40s to stop getting routine mammograms. For the first time in 20 years, the United States Preventive Service Task Force (USPSTF) said that it recommends against annual mammograms for women age 40 to 49 because the benefits do not outweigh the risks.
